Allah (swt) says in the Quran:
"And among His Signs is this, that He created for you spouses from among yourselves, that you may dwell in peace and tranquillity with them, and he has put love and mercy between your hearts: truly in that are Signs for those who reflect intelligently." (Surat ar-Room:21)

We note that the depiction of the Prophet Muhammad was not a piece of art, a painting of beauty but an attack and insult to his integrity by depicting him, and therefore his followers, as terrorists. Although in Islam all depictions of Prophet Muhammad (s) are forbidden, this particular case has caused more insult and offence by demonising the Prophet (s) and by implication his followers i.e. Muslims, as terrorists.

Reading all the diatribe from Washington, London and other EU capitals after Hamas’s crushing victory has got me thinking, how they do it keeping a straight face. Do what, you ask, how do they actually maintain a straight face while consistently contravening their very own principles.
